This Fall, we’re offering you the biggest treat (without any of the tricks, hopefully) that you can explore! Welcome to the Progenitor's Respite!
Traverse through a massive, meandering, and labyrinthine castle; filled to the brim with fearsome monsters to battle and complex rooms that will test your exploration skills. Time to gather your courage and see what lies waiting for you deep within the castle!
This is really something players will have to work together on and puzzle over— and surely isn’t meant for the faint-hearted! And as always, don’t forget to check the patch notes to know everything this update has to offer.
Additionally in this update, we have cosmetic tailoring, monsters dropping dyes, and a bunch of balance changes! As always, full patch notes can be found in our discord.
And if you log in on Halloween day, there might be another surprise in store! ;-)
A One Month Retrospective
It’s been one month or so since Genfanad’s release, so why don’t we all celebrate the occasion and end this news post by looking at some juicy stats!
Since release, we’ve been able to clock in over 15,000 player accounts, with over 200+ average concurrent players! That’s more than the number of white tigers still left in the world! And you guys are surely just as precious.
We’ve also taken note of our players’ average playtime. So far, you’ve all slain your slimes, farmed your corn, and generally grinded your hearts out for about 8.7 hours!
Of course, this is only the beginning! We can’t wait to see Genfanad continue to grow— with you alongside us!
A note about Multiple Accounts
Along with today's update we are clarifying our policy on Multi-logging and Alternate/Secondary Accounts. There has been quite a bit of confusion and skirting of the rules that we implemented, as well as players failing to abide by the spirit of the rule.
We are trying to make a fun game, and people violating the rules are wasting large amounts of time that can be spent on creating content instead. Ultimately, we will not hesitate to ban people for doing so, regardless of how much time was spent in game or their contributions.
Starting today players must only be logged in on one character at a time. We also strongly discourage anyone interacting or trading with anyone else on the same Internet Connection as this may lead to you being flagged for multi-logging. If you see anyone you think breaking this rule as it is written in our ToS/Player Agreement please create a ticket containing any offenders names and they will be investigated.
If you have a legitimate case for multiple logging, such as a shared connection, please file a ticket in discord with your specific details.
