Let’s Get Right Into It!
We’re three weeks into Genfanad, so that also means that we’re three updates deeper into the game! Deer butchery, new Vampire NPC visuals, bigger shields, rebalances, and more. Let’s take a look at what we’ve got for this week!
Cooking, Quests, and Changes
There’s quite a lot of ground for us to cover, so we’ll start with some new content! There have been two more new areas added to the Kosten Ridge region— so be sure to explore there once again. We’ve also added a new quest, as well as the ability to butcher deer!
We’ve also had quite a few visual changes done on this update. Such as making the shield sprites much larger than they were before, updating all vampire NPCs to use new vampire assets, changing the colors of the steel equipment, and a few more!
Rebalances? Of Course!
It’s not a proper Genfanad update without a few rebalances! One of the larger changes is that some monsters have had their levels adjusted to offer more options at each level. This adjustment will be coming to more monsters in future patches.
Also, magic attacks against players will now have their damage reduced by approximately 80%. Alongside this, players can no longer log out immediately after combat. After taking any form of damage (even a 0 hit) a 30-second timer will occur before the player is allowed to log out. All of this, plus a boatload of bug fixes!
These are only a few of the rebalances for this update, so be sure to read the patch notes within the Discord server.
Thank you for your continued support, and see you again next week!
