A Cooking Rework!
Welcome back, everyone!
This week's quest is "Starry-Eyed Stew", where you will help Stewart the chef to find a backbone, get gussied up, and cook a "unique" dish to woo his farmer crush! Find Stewart in the public kitchen in Coyn to begin. (And be sure to come hungry!)

Reworked Cooking Systems
As promised in our behind the scenes, the first of the skill reworks is here, with a Food Rework!
In addition to breaking up food into various tiers, different foods will have different healing rates based on in-game properties. Some foods will heal more when you've walked around a lot, while others will heal more to those who have persistently trained Strength. We look forward to players discovering the categories we've implemented so far, and for others to be created.
You may notice that the food you have created before has been converted into different items that should match the rarity and difficulty to create, but will not be perfect.
We will be paying attention to feedback on this in the coming weeks, so do expect changes based on how things work out!

Transparency
Some players mentioned that they'd like a bit more information about what is currently in flight. We're not promising specific dates as development is not easy to predict. (As Douglas Adams famously quoted, "I love deadlines, I love the whooshing noise they make while flying by") That said, we can definitely give you a bit more than we have so far.
The food rework is the first of the skill reworks planned. We're currently deep into development of the overall combat rebalance. The new damage formula is promising, and the new accuracy formula is almost done. After that's done, we have to adjust the stats of all equipment in game today, as well as the stats of all monsters currently in game. This is as expected quite a big task.
Exploration wise, we've got the first exploration system coded up, and are now in the progress of tweaking things like spawn rates, difficulties, and implementing the initial rewards for the system.
The future updates are still in early design and discussion, including the promised faction system which we have a lot of fun ideas about!
