New Christmas-Themed Content!

Hello GenFanatics! We’re getting awfully close to Christmas, and since then we’ve been really busy keeping up with that holiday spirit! Let’s get into all the new content we’ve released for you this week.

It’s not a winter update without a new area, and there’s no area as perfect as a quirky Christmas town! Take a quick holiday stroll in the Snowy Mountain, where you’ll find Skal. Decked out in Christmas decorations and plenty of new NPCs to talk to— be sure to spare a visit!

We’ve also added a new quest: "Witchy Mole, Diggin' Holes, Underneath the Viking Stronghold," that takes place (you guessed it!) underneath Skal. Meet a curious character with a Viking obsession, access a new micro dungeon, and unlock an alternate route into Skal! Be sure to poke around the Wicked Witch's castle for a clue on how to find it.

New Resources Abound!

A dungeon, some monkeys, and a mystery; what can I say? It's Christmas and Santa is coming to town. So make sure to keep an eye out for some flashy lights and a gift or two, spread across the chilly town of Skal. And what matches snow better than silver? That's right, we said silver.

You’ll find silver ore scattered around, so be sure to prepare your pickaxes. And once you're done mining, check out all the new silver recipes and items you'll be able to create!

Quick Fixes and Changes

Last of all, we’ve updated the trade UI to make it a little easier on the eyes and better match the existing UI.

Aside from that, you’ll find that icons, HP bars, and more should now cull correctly and that the minimap icon has been fixed for all areas. Also, we fixed the issue where monsters occasionally drop cooked food. No more free meals!
