We’re Sliding into Winter!
We’re kicking off this month of winter-themed updates with a slew of new content, QoL improvements, and bug fixes— there’s so much, you won’t be able to shovel them away!
First things first, let’s get into the meat of the update. We’ve added a new area within the Timberlode Threshold, so be sure to explore around the South West, meet some of the friendly Gentle Slopes residents, and while you’re there be sure to complete the new quest: “One Man’s Trash”.
There, you’ll be tasked to help out Lord Terrence Vapiedé III with his missing figurine! Or maybe it's a doll… or an action figure? One thing is for certain; nobody on the premises seems to know what it is, or why the Lord is so smitten with it.

New Items, Enemies, and Secrets!
If you do some walking around, you’ll be able to find our new enemy, the Adult Ice Elemental! Be careful, it’ll be tough to break that icy exterior. And if you’re looking for a way to get some better defense before you start farming them, why not craft an ice shield? It’s our newest item, and we’ve added the recipe and its needed ingredients for you to create it!
Once you've slain a few, you might also notice that non-boss enemies will give all XP to the killer! This means that you can't just attack monsters down to half of their health and then run away to a different monster.
Oh, and as you wander around the Timberlode Threshold, you’ll soon notice that you can finally see the entirety of the Ice Mountain. Though of course, you still won’t be able to venture in. We’ll keep that a secret until another update!
A Few Bugs We Squashed
It isn’t an update without bugfixes! First of all, we’ve fixed that issue with stuck items in banks. Now, they’ll no longer have broken images.
We’ve also removed the player’s ability to gain a “free attack” from rapidly retreating and re-attacking an enemy. This will make it so that players won’t gain a significant advantage from quicker reaction times.
Finally, we’ve done some bugfixes within the tutorial, to make it so players cannot get stuck; and for quest items to un-appear from interfaces post-quest or before the quest.
Thank you for reading through this update, and we can’t wait to show you guys what we have in store for you in the month of December!
