The day is finally here! We're happy to announce that the Closed Beta for Genfanad: The Contest of Gimmicks is live!

To reiterate, this closed beta is available for certain Patreon tiers and all Kickstarter backers. Hop on over to the #beta-signup channel in our Discord to signup, and we'll send you your invite link when ready!

If you can't see that channel, you may need to take a look around in Discord's 'Browse Channels' tab, available at the very top of the channel listing. If you're a Patron, you may also need to read the guide on how to sign up to Genfanad's closed beta, pinned to the top of our Patreon.

Warning: again, this beta is not a playable game!

Just to reiterate - to eliminate any nasty surprises - this beta is not a playable game! It's a tech demo that we're using to gain rapid feedback and iterate on designs quickly. Theres:

• No skills other than combat.
• A highly limited map.
• Lots and lots of resets.

So be warned! When you're in the beta, though, we ask that you submit as much feedback - and as many bug reports - as you can! You can find the channels to do this in Discord (again, you may need to check them on the 'Browse Channels tab'). There's a forum for #beta-feedback, a form for #beta-bug-reports, and a general #beta-general channel.

Other than that, we hope that you enjoy the beta - and we couldn't be more excited to continue working on Genfanad's The Contest of Gimmicks update!
